Texas runs two separate state archery bodies. The Texas State Archery Association (TSAA) is the official USA Archery state chapter and handles target, indoor, and the Olympic-development pipeline. The Texas Field Archery Association (TFAA) is the NFAA state affiliate and runs field, 3D, and the SYWAT state league. Between them you get a calendar that barely stops. Houston, Dallas-Fort Worth, San Antonio, and Austin hold the densest indoor and target club scenes. Head out to Roanoke, Waco, or the Hill Country and you find 3D and field courses cut into oak and cedar. Bowhunting is huge across the state, with whitetail seasons that drive pro shop traffic from August through January. Use the city list below to find the right club for your discipline and location.
