Kentucky has one of the most distinctive youth archery pipelines in the country. Scholastic 3D Archery (S3DA), the national youth 3D and target program, is headquartered in Kentucky and has its deepest state-level footprint here. Archery is also a sanctioned high school sport through the Kentucky High School Athletic Association (KHSAA), one of the few states where that's true. NFAA activity in Kentucky runs through clubs in the NFAA Southeast Section. USA Archery activity runs through clubs and JOAD programs. Louisville, Lexington, Bowling Green, and Northern Kentucky hold the densest club scenes. Head into Eastern Kentucky and Appalachia and you find clubs cut into hardwood with 3D courses.
