Arizona runs two main archery bodies. USA Archery Arizona (USAA-AZ) is the state organization sanctioned by USA Archery, hosting the AAE Arizona Cup USAT Tournament (one of the marquee USA Archery Team selection events) and the Arizona State Championships. The Arizona Bowhunters and Field Archery Association (ABFAA) is the NFAA state affiliate and runs the State Classic, State 3 Spot, State International, State 900, State Field, and State One Arrow 3D championships, with annual Shooter of the Year buckles. Phoenix, Tucson, Mesa, Flagstaff, and Prescott hold the densest club scenes. Mild winters and dry desert conditions let most of the state shoot outdoor target and 3D essentially year-round, with summer pushing activity to morning sessions and higher elevations. Bowhunting is significant, with elk, mule deer, javelina, and Coues whitetail seasons. Use the city list below to find the right club for your discipline and location.
